I think I’m Big Meech, Larry Hoover
Whippin’ work, hallelujah
One nation under God
Real n “s” gettin’ money from the f “n” start.
William Leonard Roberts II also known as the rapper “Rick Ross” really has some insecurity issues. To be honest I feel bad for him. The lack of individuality in the rap industry is sickening. The new BMF song by “Rick Ross” starts off by praising Big Meech and Larry Hoover. Recently as in 3 years ago because of extensive drug deals across the nation Black Mafia Family Leader Big Meech was senteced to 30 years in jail, he’ll be 61 when he’s released. Why do we glorify the very people who destroy our communities? Have you ever seen a crack baby or the effects that drugs has on some of our family members? Its nothing cool about that, nothing worth glorifying. But when you lack confidence in yourself it becomes easy to imitate those who should not be copied. The second name he mentioned truly showed his ignorance because Big Meech and Larry Hoover should never even be said in the same sentence. They were two different types of people, though Larry Hoover had his faults he was alot more disciplined and conscious. As the founder of Gangster Disciples he encouraged his members to vote and become apart of the political process. He encouraged the Gd’s to be involved in protecting their community not destroying it. Larry Hoover evolved as a man and is now known as Luqman Abdullah and the organization evolved as well. What was once known as Gangster Disciples, GD now stands for Growth and Development. So when “Rick Ross” talks about Larry Hoover he is talking about a man who once was instead of the great man the he evolved to be. And for this reason Gd’s all across the country are upset that a man who is so bent on being anybody but himself doesn’t take the time to truly learn the history of the people that he’s glorifying. And if he does know and he is not ignorant than he is being used as a pawn by a industry that historically has tricked us into believing that we are inferior. And if thats the case then William Leonard Roberts II should be viewed as an enemy and not an entertainer.
